Italy will soon approve a new aid package for Ukraine, the Minister of Defense of the Republic Guido Crosetto said today, quoted by the Italian news agency ANSA.
„In the coming weeks we will approve a new aid package for Ukraine so that it can continue to defend itself against Russia”, the minister said during a meeting of the Special Mediterranean and Middle East Group of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, which is taking place today in the lower house of the Italian parliament, BTA specifies.
Italy has been steadfast in its support for Kiev, sending successive shipments of defensive weapons.
