"Hello, friends! Until now, we from the Foundation” we did three shows in Canada and two in the US. Already in Bulgaria, just before we left for America, Kiril Marichkov had an accident. He managed to play and sing up to that moment, at the cost of great pain, but now the pain has become unbearable and on the recommendation of doctors, he has to return to Bulgaria for treatment.
This is what the rock group Foundation wrote on Facebook.
"We have provided him with a companion and assistant for the flights and we hope that everything will be favorable! We thought about ending the tour, but he asked us to continue. He would be happy to have people sing his songs before he is 80, and we promised to send him videos of the audience singing. Let us all who respect him sing his songs together here in America. That will make him truly happy. He wanted us to do these concerts so much that this is the least we can do for him at this moment," added the legends of Bulgarian music.
"We will fulfill the promise and the tour continues: Master Ivan Lechev (FSB), Slavcho Nikolov (B.T.R.), Venko Poromanski (Te) and Doni. We will sing songs by Kiril Marichkov and “Sturtsite”, as well as songs of the groups from which we originate.
